NYFW Spring 2016: Elie Tahari

In a surprising twist, designer Elie Tahari also took a foray down the bohemian route. This brand, once well-known for its structured, minimalist designs, had began experimenting with more fluid silhouettes in past year or so. However, this seasons presentation is a large departure from what the brand was once all about. The bohemian designs, which showcased a ton of fringe and perforated leather details still maintain that signature Tahari minimalism with the use of muted colors. Overall the presentation was clean, crisp and very spring appropriate but surprising none the less.
