May is my absolute favorite month for so many reasons (the biggest of which is my birthday, yup yup). The world becomes greener, the trees and flowers all begin to bloom and I am reminded that summer is just around the corner. For this months #MonthlyMani post we decided on the theme of May flowers…you know, April showers bring… I wanted to do something that required minimal effort so I used my dotting tool to create a daisy pattern. As usual, I was inspired by a pin I found on Pinterest. However, I really wanted to keep it simple so instead of a base coat and base polish color I used a matte top coat as my base coat and then applied the dots. I finished by applying a second coat of the matte top coat to seal in the mani. Overall, I am pleased by how it turned out. What do you think?

I LOVE this! I love the minimalistic look, I love daisies, and I love how we both went for a “negative space” design, i.e. no base polish color!!! GREAT mani! 🙂
