Replicate A Look | Alice + Olivia

NYFW Fall 2014 Alice + Olivia Look to try now

I’m such a lover of fashion, I read about it, pin about it, blog about it. I can have endless conversations about how to accessories a look. But my most favorite part of the whole thing is finding inspiration. It gives me such pleasure when I see an outfit, or color palette or even architectural details that spark an idea in my mind. This blog is dedicated not only to sharing my personal style but also to sharing my fashion inspirations with you all. Fashion, for me, isn’t about meticulously following a trend or mimicking a style icon BUT there is also nothing wrong with replicating a look that you feel fits in your style wheel house and even looks that you might never have thought to try (after all a person’s sense of style is ever evolving).

The look above, from the Alice + Olivia’sย Fall 2014 presentation has stuck with me. Like almost everything else this brand showcases, this look is effortless, fun and cool at the same time. I thought how fun it would be to find a way to replicate it but still find a way to make it my own. With this thought a new series was created. Replicate a Look is a series in whichย  I will share with you all my version of some favorite fashion looks using affordable fashions, and making adjustments so the looks work for real life situations.

Here is my version:

Ombre kimono top white tank wide leg jeans pointy toe black heels ombre floral print kimono over white tank and wide leg blue jeans with pointy toe black pumps long kimono top over wide leg denim neon yellow manicure silver rings knuckle rings red lipstick wide leg denim over pointy toe black pumps

Kimono, Shirt, Shoes– H&M | Jeans– Paris Blue | Tank top, Earring– Forever 21

Happy Friday!
